THE BENEFITS OF PLANT BASED WAX: 

 

Candle making is a 3 billion dollar industry. When doing my research, and shopping for candles I noticed that majority of the candles you see in retail stores contain numerous ingredients, one that stands out is Paraffin Wax. Paraffin Wax creates highly toxic carcinogens (such as benzene and toluene) when burned. The toxins released from paraffin candles are the same as those found in diesel fumes - yuck! 

Soy wax has a lower melting point vs paraffin wax and because of this, soy candles will burn slower and longer. Soy wax burns with zero soot, which means you can burn your candles without the fear of inhaling toxic fumes you shouldn't have to. 

 

CANDLE CARE

* Soy wax has a memory. To ensure that your candles don't tunnel, always burn your candle until the wax pool has reached the edge of the jar. 

* Like split ends, trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This ensures a good burn!

* Lit candles are hot, hot, hot! Never touch or move your candle while it is lit. Allow a cool-off period after blowing them out before handling them.

* Keep lit candles in sight while burning & away from anything flammable. Never leave children, pets, or plants unattended near an open flame.

* Burn within 4-5 hours at a time

* Always burn for good vibes :) 

 

RECYCLING PROGRAM

APG candles are made with recyclable glassware. Once it's burned out you can get creative with your vessel.
