One of the oldest and most traditional rituals is the burning of Palo Santo. Palo Santo is also known as ‘holy wood’ and is a tree native to South America. Traditionally used to cleanse and clear away negative energy. Also used to enhance creativity and soothe everyday stressors. It is very important to recognize and respect the cultural and spiritual significance of this ritual.

" It’s wood from a tree called Bursera graveolens, nicknamed Palo Santo, that grows in South America. Like sage, which is predominantly used by Native Americans, South American shamans believed burning Palo Santo had similar properties capable of resetting energy that was tainted by negativity or conflict.
